RangeCare Chief Executive Gary Holland delivered an upbeat address to about 100 clients and supporters at the organisation's Christmas Celebration at Flaxton Gardens on Monday, highlighting a year of growth and achievement.
Mr Holland shared impressive statistics, revealing that RangeCare now employs about 250 team members caring for almost 1,800 clients, delivering approximately 210,000 hours of service this year. He also praised the organisation's dedicated volunteers, who contributed nearly 13,000 hours of service
The CEO announced a significant partnership with Cricks Sunshine Coast, which has become a sponsor of RangeCare and its fleet, helping expand services to clients.
Despite challenges including the introduction of the new "Support at Home" funding model and managing the impact of Cyclone Alfred, Mr Holland emphasised the organisation's resilience. He proudly noted RangeCare's nomination for four prestigious awards, including the Sunshine Coast Business Awards.
Looking ahead, Mr Holland outlined plans for RangeCare's 40th anniversary year, with services now stretching from the Blackall Range to Gympie and south Caloundra while maintaining quality care standards.
The celebration concluded with Mr Holland wishing attendees a wonderful morning tea and safe, merry Christmas.
