All aboard the Stash and Dash Shop Hop! A colourful day out for Sunshine Coast fabric lovers

The Shop Hop bus will take fabric enthusiasts on a fun filled drive across the coast to source fabulous fabrics.

Fabric enthusiasts are in for a treat this November as Fabric Cartel hosts the Stash & Dash Shop Hop - a vibrant bus tour celebrating creativity, community, and connection across the Sunshine Coast’s most loved sewing destinations.

Departing Nambour Station at 9am on Thursday, November 27, the tour will take guests on a joyful journey aboard Josie’s colourful bus, visiting a trio of creative havens: Fabric Cartel in Nambour, Kimz Sewing & Patchwork Centre in Warana, and Sand Salt Sew in Noosa.

Participants can enjoy a relaxed lunch stop in Yandina, with the freedom to bring their own picnic or explore the local bakery, cafés, and park before continuing on to Noosa for the final stop - and perhaps a visit to the Noosa Chocolate Factory or nearby yarn shop for an extra sweet treat.

“We wanted to create a day that’s all about fun, friendship, and fabrics,” said Virginia from Fabric Cartel. “It’s a wonderful way for our sewing community to connect, discover new inspiration, and enjoy some of the Sunshine Coast’s most creative spaces.”

Adding to the excitement, participants who spend $25 or more at each store will go into the draw to win a bumper hamper packed with sewing goodies - a reward for both the keen shopper and the creative spirit.

The Stash & Dash Shop Hop is a perfect day out for quilters, sewists, and fabric lovers of all levels. Seats are limited, and bookings are essential. Can’t make this one? Virginia added the Shop Hop would be a regular event in 2026.
