Three big days celebrating 120 years of Show traditions
KCs Monster Trucks are back at the Show.
The 120th Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show will be packed with action, laughter and live entertainment for all ages. From magical wild brumbies, high-octane stunt shows to farmyard favourites, rides and live music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy over three huge days. It’s on from 12–14 June, at the Nambour Showgrounds.
“This year’s program promises a full long weekend of action, lots of horsepower, with gates open from 9am each day and entertainment continuing into the night,” said Show Society President Rowan O’Hara.
One of the Coast’s biggest ticketed events, the show remains a winter meeting place that celebrates the region’s rich agricultural heritage, vibrant community spirit, and spectacular events from woodchopping battles to show-jumping action, a mega petting zoo, working dogs, sheep shearing, a creative arts exhibition, delicious food stalls, Sunshine & Sons Show Saloon, fireworks, rides, showbags and lots of free family fun.
While the big-ticket entertainment brings the noise and spectacle, the show’s heart remains its long connection to the district’s rural roots. Traditional competitions and displays continue to give locals and visitors a reminder of the farming skills, animal handling, craftsmanship and community effort that have shaped the event across generations.
“We are absolutely delighted with the strong regional support for the 120th Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show,” said Show Society President, Rowan O’Hara. “The energy and enthusiasm from our visitors, farmers, exhibitors, performers, competitors and members who all come together each year is truly fantastic.”
“The Show is more than just an event; it’s where the city meets country, where kids learn about where food comes from, and provides invaluable support for our local farmers and businesses,” Mr O’Hara said. “We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our competitors, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, judges, stewards, and of course, our incredible Showgoers - we can’t wait to see you soon.”
