Health Feature: Radiologists diagnose, manage & support patients’ health in Nambour
Sunshine Coast Radiology is marking 20 years of service on the Coast, with spokesperson Fiona Davis highlighting the organisation’s deepening commitment to the Nambour community.
“It’s a great privilege to stand before you here today and represent Sunshine Coast Radiology,” Ms Davis told the June Nambour Chamber of Commerce Coffee Catchup meeting. “We’re a medical imaging company who provided 20 years of dedicated service to the Sunshine Coast.”
Now operating 13 sites across the region, the company has grown from humble beginnings to become a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services, with two dedicated clinics in Nambour — one on Ann Street and the other within Nambour Selangor Private Hospital.
“These sites offer convenient parking and easy access, ensuring our patients receive care close to home and without hassle,” she said.
Sunshine Coast Radiology offers a full suite of services including x-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs, mammography, nuclear medicine and, more recently, PET scans.
“These aren’t just services, they’re essential tools to diagnosing, managing and supporting our patients’ health journeys,” Ms Davis said.
She praised the commitment of the clinical and administrative staff, who she said were central to the group’s patient-first philosophy.
“Our highly skilled sonographers, radiographers, radiologists, and clerical staff… embody our patients-first approach every single day,” she said.
Ms Davis said the clinics were committed to accessibility and affordability. “We proudly offer services here in clinic, reducing the financial burden for many of our patients while maintaining the highest quality standards.”
Looking ahead, she said the organisation remained focused on continuity of care. “20 years in, our purpose remains clear — to deliver exceptional, compassionate imaging services to the Sunshine Coast community.”
