The Two Tenors bring the best of Josh Groban to the Sunshine Coast in special live film event

Matthew Leigh and Roger Davy.

Following a string of successful performances across South East Queensland, The Two Tenors – featuring former The Ten Tenors member Roger Davy and award-winning musical theatre performer Matthew Leigh – will bring their acclaimed new production The Best of Josh Groban to The Presynct in Nambour for a spectacular live concert event on Thursday 4 June.

Joined by special guest soprano Gabrielle Diaz from Opera Queensland and The 7 Sopranos, the performance will also be professionally filmed and shared internationally as part of the show’s ongoing promotional campaign.

Audiences will be treated to soaring vocals, breathtaking harmonies and emotionally charged performances of Josh Groban’s most beloved songs including You Raise Me Up, To Where You Are, The Prayer, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Anthem, What I Did for Love and Time to Say Goodbye, alongside a selection of Broadway favourites and contemporary crossover classics.

“This show is really about connection,” said Roger Davy. “The audience is right there with us, and because the night is being filmed, the energy in the room becomes part of the performance itself. It’s more than just a concert – it is a shared experience.”

Known for blending classical technique with contemporary storytelling, The Two Tenors create a concert atmosphere that is both intimate and spectacular. Powerful solo performances, dynamic duets and thrilling three-part harmonies combine to create a live music experience that resonates across generations.

Roger Davy has performed extensively throughout Australia, Europe and the UK, appearing with Opera Australia and Opera Queensland and touring internationally with The Ten Tenors.

Matthew Leigh, trained at the Australian Institute of Music, is a Gold Palm Award-winning performer whose theatre credits include Jekyll & Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, Jersey Boys, Mamma Mia! and School of Rock.

Special guest Gabrielle Diaz is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and a performer with Opera Queensland. Her credits include La Bohème, Dido and Aeneas, Manon, Brisbane Festival’s Street Serenades and Opera by the Lakes with The 7 Sopranos.

Presented by Vavachi Entertainment in association with Elite Talent Agency, this special one-night-only event offers audiences the rare opportunity to experience world-class voices up close – and be able to say, “I was there.”
