Popular miniature trains to run in Nambour this month

The Nambour miniature trains are great value fun for the whole family.

The much loved miniature trains will be running again in Nambour on Sunday, May 24 in the mini rail park at 1 Florence Street (off Hospital Road), Nambour.

Steam, battery and petrol locomotives will haul the trains around 1km of track and visitors can ride on just one train or try all of the different trains.

There is plenty of parking 100mtrs away at the QR railway station car park and a sausage sizzle and cold drinks will be available on the day.

The railway is also small dog friendly.

Enclosed shoes must be worn to ride on the trains, so please no thongs or footwear where the toes or foot is exposed. These are miniature trains and the locos do have weight limits as to the load they can haul.

The best value tickets are 6 rides for $15 or 20 rides for $50. Single tickets are $3 each. Children 4 years and under ride free when travelling with a fare paying adult, and EFTPOS is available. All members hold a Blue Card. For more details go to www.scrms.com.au
