Death and dying are natural parts of life, yet many of us feel unprepared when faced with them. Tying Up Loose Ends is a local community group dedicated to helping people navigate this stage with compassion, dignity, and understanding.

Ruth Boydell a death doula (sometimes called a death midwife) will be in Maleny on the 8th of March at the Maleny Players theatre to speak about ”End of Life Choices”. Through gentle guidance, Ruth will talk about how to help families understand end-of-life options, assisting with planning, or simply being there from diagnosis through transition, and into the practicalities that follow death.

The aim is to ensure that life’s final chapter unfolds with grace and honour, while also opening conversations that reduce fear and encourage compassion within the community.

The event will be held at the Maleny Players Theatre at the Maleny Showgrounds from 2.00-4.00pm on March 8. Cost is $15.00 and bookings can be made at https://www.trybooking.com/DIZMO
