From left, Renee Wells (Greens), Andrew Wallace (LNP), Keryn Jones (teal independent) and Morrison Lakey (ALP).

What do Fisher’s federal election candidates really stand for? On Tuesday night (April 16), they had their chance to lay it out—live, in front of a local business crowd. Infrastructure, energy costs and small business support took centre stage at the meet-the-candidates forum hosted by the chambers of commerce at Parklands Tavern.

With a potential minority government looming, Andrew Wallace (LNP), Morrison Lakey (Labor), Renee Wells (Greens), and independent Keryn Jones each pitched their plans—and made clear where they differ.

Here’s what they had to say. Watch their opening speeches:

Keryn Jones teal independent candidate for Fisher in the May 3 2025 election outlines her vision for the electorate.

Andrew Wallace, LNP candidate for Fisher in the May 3 2025 election, outlines his vision for the electorate.

Greens candidate Renee Wells candidate for Fisher in the May 3 2025 election outlines her vision for the electorate.
