Private styling studio in Woombye built on a passion for sustainability, fashion and fun

Ava and Jacinta at Wilson Avenue “Sustainability matters to both of us, but so does the feeling people leave with.”

Tucked beneath Property Lane Realty in Woombye is Wilson Avenue, an exclusive and private styling studio built around recycled fashion and a passion for everything select, vintage and fabulous.

The vision of stylist Jacinta Emms, Wilson Avenue is a creative haven that brings together timeless wardrobe staples with recycled cult labels and vintage finds.

“Pieces that bring your wardrobe to life are at the heart of Wilson Avenue,” Jacinta said.

“I love helping women reconnect with their fun side rather than creating over structured wardrobes. Putting together unexpected combinations and allowing people to experiment and discover styles they would never have thought to throw into the cocktail is the best. I love it.”

The space at Wilson Avenue has naturally evolved into somewhere women can go before events, photoshoots, festivals, music gigs, birthdays and all the other occasions that call for something wonderful.

“With Ava from Mane St. Hair now working within the studio, it has become even more of a space where people can come to get event ready,” she said.

“Ava offers cuts, colour, hair treatments and styling using sustainable haircare products and practices, so some people come in for shopping, book in for styling or hair, or stay for the whole experience.”

Wilson Avenue also works across personal styling, band styling, creative projects, private shopping appointments and small group styling sessions, with the studio hosting shopping events amongst other things.

“We have an event coming up called Nice Rack, a curated fashion market bringing together amazing secondhand, great people and a shared love of sustainable fashion,” said Jacinta.

“We will also be running a giveaway via social media ahead of the event, with a complimentary rack space up for grabs.”

“Sustainability matters to both of us,” Jacinta explained, “but so does the feeling people leave with. What is so important to us is not only the experience, but the way someone feels when they walk out the door.”
