Fit Kat celebrates four years of fitness, fun, community

Fit Kat Bootcamp in Nambour marked its fourth birthday on Saturday with a morning of workouts, wellness and celebration, bringing together members and the wider community.

The event kicked off with a fun, all-levels fitness session followed by a stretch class led by local health students, then rounded out with mimosas, raffles and free kids’ face painting.

Guest speakers Michelle Holmes, a pelvic floor specialist, and Stacey Hampshire from Lotus Embodied Therapy shared advice on women’s health and mental wellbeing, while local businesses including Zest Nutrition, HB Beauty, Deelight Therapies and The Enchantress showcased their products. A Lorna Jane pop-up store offered 20 per cent discounts.

Owner Katija Wilkinson, who started the gym from her home before moving to the current Price Street location, said Fit Kat’s mission had always been about more than fitness.

“It’s about connection, empowerment and creating a safe, supportive space for women,” she said. “We’re so grateful to our amazing community for four incredible years.”
