After six years helping Nambour businesses make their mark, Signtown owners Graeme Brown and Brett Warren believe the town is finally entering a new era of growth.
The pair were recognised as Nambour Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Month at its November Coffee Catch-up.
Chamber President Brian Bugenhagen praised their professionalism, workmanship and commitment to customers.
“You spend your days helping other businesses stand out. So this morning, it's our turn to shine the spotlight on you,” he said.
Accepting the award, Graeme said he and Brett had watched businesses come and go over the years, but were now seeing encouraging signs of lasting change.
“Over the last few years, we've heard it quite a bit. This is it. Nambour's going ahead and nothing seems to come from it, nothing major,” he said.
“But right at the moment with all the development and building and everything going on from Rod's building to C Square to the Everyday Foods and plus there's a couple of national franchise people coming in, things really do appear like they're going up in the town and it's really positive vibe.”
Graeme said both owners lived locally and enjoyed seeing new businesses opening.
He thanked Heretics Haven for nominating Signtown and announced The Namba Hotel as their nomination for the next Business of the Month award.
