Always a hit with readers of all ages, the book sale offers a broad range of quality books and raises funds for the library to purchase new titles.
Avid readers and bargain hunters are encouraged to set their alarms early for the upcoming Woombye Community Library Big Balcony Book Sale.
The popular event is returning on Saturday, 28 November, running from 7.30am to 12.00 midday at the Woombye School of Arts Hall on Blackall Street.
Held just three times a year, the balcony book sales offer a treasure trove of incredible book bargains. The stock features a curated mix of titles culled from the library's own shelves alongside generous donations from the public. Many of the books on offer are in near-new condition, spanning a wide range of genres.
All proceeds from the day directly support the local volunteer-run facility, with every dollar raised going straight toward purchasing brand-new books to refresh the library’s collection.
Organisers recommend arriving early to secure the best picks of the day.
For a smooth shopping experience, both cash and EFTPOS payments will be gladly accepted on the morning. Come along, find your next great read, and help keep Woombye’s literary community thriving.
